Back at Qaqqaliaq

The wind was playing tricks with us and we were hesitant whether to sail out or not. In the end we decided to throw the hydrophone into the water from Qaqqaliaq where little or little more wind does not really matter.  Or that is what I thought – the swell was quite powerful and the recordings ended up quite noisy anyway. We did hear faint singing of bowhead whales though so the trip to the cliffs was not a waste of time at all.
