After our successful day out at sea on Monday, we spent Tuesday inside summarizing our notes and punching in data and feeling happy about the good start! We made more attempts to hear the bowheads from Qaqqaliaq later in the week but in vain. The first of the BBC staff has arrived at the Arctic Station. BBC is here to film bowheads for a new TV series about whales. We are all excited but also anxious about how things will work out with the bowheads so far offshore and plenty of ice packing up.
